Bellydance Workshop.

Saturday February. 11^th 2012

3:00pm - 4:30pm $25 plus hst

She's back… Our dear and beloved bellydance instructor Robin DeDanann returns for this fun and lively workshop that will not only wake up your hips but your entire body and soul. Don't miss out on this extraordinary and gifted women who knows how to awaken the diva in you!!! No previous bellydance experience needed.

FAMILY DAY YOGA CLASS - Monday February 20th 10am -11:30am $5 per child, parents bring a food donation

Join us for this fun and adventurous journey with yoga in our Beached Themed Class. No previous yoga experience rquired just an open mind and a willingness to discover the joys of yoga. Dress bright and sunny as well as comfortably and bring a yoga mat if you have one. Yoga mats also available at studio.

11:11:11 on 11:11:11. On the road to Dec. 21st 2012, there have been many transforming events leading us to this pivitol turning point in time. The internet has opened the door for us to all witness and experience death, birth, and renewal in countries around the globe as people work to reform their lives for the better. We will most likely continue to feel and experience the effects of the times we live in as events and circumstances play out in increased frequencies. Let the winds of change in our lives lead us to our spiritual awakening.

As people continue to remember their divine purpose and destiny, millions will gather throughout the world once again on November 11th, to deepen their connection to the One. We are on this ride together aiming towards the same goals of peace, prosperity and equality for all despite our different approaches. If you feel called to join us, the studio will be open from 11:11am until 11:11pm for meditation. You can choose whatever time of day suits you and stay as long as you like. You may come and go as often as you like.

The day will include a variety of meditation formats from walking, guided, music, silence, visual and however else spirit decides to invite us closer to the Light.

This is a free event, however, we encourage you to donate a food product for the Stoney Creek Food Bank at the door. 11:11:11 is another opportunity through our collective thoughts, pure vibrations and actions to uplift humanity, ourselves and those right in our community who may need assistance at this time. FIRST TIME IN CANADA - SPIRITUAL HEALER - VIVEN PERUMAL

Veven is a Spiritual Healer who channels spirit doctors and surgeons. This is achieved by using the Universal White Light of the Master Christ to perform all healings. He was born in Durban, South Africa, and has been involved with spirituality for over 30 years. Saturday Aug. 20th and Sunday Aug.21st, 2011 9:30am - 4:30pm Fee: $175.00 - Spiritual Healing and understanding Physical Healing - This course is designed for those who already practice healing, as well as those who want to increase their knowledge of healing. This is an interactive, hands-on, practical course that will involve you as a participant in receiving healing and also allow you to give healing to others.

You will be taught to use specific healing colors, channelled from The Higher Spiritual Planes; and how to ultimately work with Spirit Doctors and Surgeons in helping to bring relief to those who are in pain and distress. Different mind projection techniques will be practiced so you can develop your levels of concentration and build a stronger vibration for healing by using The White Light.

Thursday August 25th and Friday August 26th, 2011 7-10pm $75 The Power of the Mind - This course is specifically designed to help people understand the workings of the most precious gift God has given us, the mind. You will be taught the relationship of the three minds and how they interact with each other. You will learn how to identify your blockages and how these blockages lead to bodily ailments and sicknessess in present day. Techniques will also be taught to recondition the mind to create a healthy life and a more prosperous future.

Viven will be available for private healing sessions from August 22nd to 26th.

Saturday August 13th 3:00pm Free of Charge but bring a priceless scrumptious dish along to share!...

Come delight your tastebuds with everything raw. Soups, salads, deserts. New to raw - Keep it simple - eg. cut up veggies, bring raw nuts, or fresh fruit. We'll feast on all. You do not have to be 100% raw to join us. We encourage everyone interested in learning new ways to prepare foods and integrating more live foods into their diet. Raw also includes sprouts, smoothies, dehydrated foods and desserts - all prepared with the advantage of rejuvenating the body, elevating the mind and uplifting the spirit - come join us and see and feel for yourself.

ONE IN 100 PEOPLE WILL GET SCHIZOPHRENIA - MOST OFTEN IN THE PRIME OF YOUTH

SATURDAY MARCH 5TH, 2011 7:15PM $10 suggested contribution - Beams of Light is pleased to participate in this years Yogathon for Schizophrenia organized by the Schizoprenia Society of Ontario. We have decided to do a candlelight class in honor of Kevin Bdinka, a member at the studio who passed away last year on March 4th who struggled thru his own challenges throughout his life with the illness.

All funds raised at the yogathon event will go to The Peace of Mind outreach and education programs aimed at youths to identify the signs and symptoms of psychosis and the stigma associated with schizophrenia.
